This week started out slow with the fish moving around a lot and scattered down the bank lines feeding on spawning herring. The past 2 days they finally schooled back up and biting great. I’m pretty sure this super moon is firing them up. I’m finding most of them in 20-30ft of water feeding right on the bottom.
Pulling split shot free lines and downlines with herring has been the best bite. Still catching a few everyday keeping a Mini Mack in my spread. Water temp started getting into the mid 70’s but has dropped back down to 67 today.
Good luck to everyone this weekend. Hopefully this cold front doesn’t affect them too much.
